IMPACT Sponsorship Opportunities

As part of this year’s event, LPRC has designed sponsorships to directly enhance research in 2019. To sponsor, please complete the form at the bottom of this page with your preferred sponsorship and table.

The IMPACT planning committee has outlined the Solution Center Experience process to facilitate more retailer-solution partner interactions without encouraging a typical conference sales exhibit environment. Here is this year’s instructions and regulations:

  • Solution Center Experience will take place once again in the Rion Ballroom Oct 2 and Oct 3.  Exact hours, set up and take down times, logistics, and table top requirements TBD.
  • SPs will review sponsorship opportunities/table availability and follow instructions on how to select each via our website*
  • Once we receive the online form, an invoice will be sent to billing contact for sponsorship payment. 
  • After payment is received, billing contact will receive an email confirming your sponsorship and table.
  • Members will staff and exhibit from their tables only during designated times.
  • *Research Scholar and Associate Scholar sponsors will have top priority on table selection, afterwards it will be first come first serve.

SHIPPING INFO

The University of Florida does not have shipping/receiving; you SHOULD NOT ship directly to the
conference site.

Shipping Options:

  1. Send your packages ahead of time to your hotel (please confirm with them). You will be
    responsible for loading/unloading and setting up.
  2. Ship to UF Mover Guys offsite storage facility located at – 2331 NW 13th St. Gainesville FL, 32609.
    Offsite storage is available Sept 17 – Oct 5. Deliveries are accepted Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.

    • Handling fees will apply depending on weight and quantity of packages
    • Your shipment must arrive at the offsite storage by Friday, Sept 28th
    • You must provide packing lists and shipping manifests ahead of time to Brad Stumpff
      at ufmove@gmail.com 352-415-0886 dial option #2 and mention Jessi
      Dudley/IMPACT conference.
    • Your shipment will be moved to the conference site Sunday morning and stored in
      the Rion Ballroom until you arrive for set up
    • Please label all of your packages with company name and table number

Return Shipping Options:

    1. You may personally take your items to the local UPS Store or FedEx a few miles from campus
    2. Have the UF Mover Guys take your packages to FedEx or UPS
  • You must preprint ups/FedEx labels BEFORE arriving at the University and adhere
    them to your packages during Wednesday break down.
  • The UFMG team will pick your boxes up from conference site on Wednesday, Oct 4
    at 5pm and drop off to the appropriate carrier Thursday, Oct 5 for return. Regular
    and Freight shipping both permitted.
TABLE SET UP

University of Florida Rion Ballroom: Sun Sept 30, 9am – 5pm and Mon Oct 1, 9am – 5pm. We recommend setting
up on Sunday to avoid Monday university traffic. Take down will be Wed Oct 3, 1pm – 5pm. Continue past the UF
Visitor Parking Garage to access the circle drive for loading/unloading. Take elevators to the 3rd floor to Rion
Ballroom. A parking pass will be provided to park car in the garage while setting up.

  • SP must provide specifications of their tabletop displays, and any electrical power
    needs to jessi@lpresearch.org
  • SP will provide all power/extension cords.
  • SP agrees to the University of Florida’s terms and conditions.
  • The Reitz Union has a few hand trucks and carts available for moving equipment. Please check with RU Hotel desk.
  • Table dimensions: 6’ x 30” and is 36” tall. Table skirts will be provided; however, you’re welcome to use your own.
  • Passenger Elevator: 3’5”w x 6’6”d. If your equipment will not fit in a standard elevator contact Jessi for special arrangements.
RESEARCH POSTER

This year at IMPACT, four segments totaling just over four hours will be dedicated to presenting research results in poster format in the Solution Center, up from 90 minutes last year. Each working group will have a poster, and the opening session will include all research projects conducted in the past 12 months. If you’ve recently funded an LPRC Research Project, you are welcomed to participate and present a research poster next to your table.

  • If you haven’t registered and/or selected a table in the Solution Center, please do so before participating.
  • Participation in this poster session is free with your table.
  • If you do not have a table, the cost to participate in this poster session is $750
  • Each poster will follow a specific format, contact mike@lpresearch.org for more info.
  • Please Note these important changes from last year:
    • We received some feedback last year that the posters inhibited table traffic, so we’ve changed to a smaller, vertical poster format. The posters will be 2 feet wide this year, down from 4 feet wide last year.
    • Unlike in past years, posters will NOT have a “presenter” expected to stand next to them at all times. Posters will instead have “authors” listed, and will be self-explanatory. Posters will be between tables as to not interfere with your attendee engagement.
GAMIFICATION GUIDELINES

This year, attendees will utilize a mobile app to receive conference info (logistics, agenda, etc.) and participate in the Mad Scientist gamification similar to years before. Conference gamification challenges are designed to increase attendee participation and traffic/flow during the Solution Center Experience, breaks, and lunch and learns. All SPs are required to participate in the conference gamification and will be provided a code specific to their table. SPs will give this code to any attendee visiting their table, which will count towards points in the conference gamification. To further drive interaction at your table, the conference committee will permit SPs to host their own raffle at their table. (This will be separate from the Mad Scientist gamification and voluntary).

INNOVATION LAB TECHNOLOGY

Our team is developing specific tracks that will give the LPRC Innovation Lab a more cohesive feel. Solution Partners currently exhibiting technology or solutions in the lab must make any changes and/or updates by Friday, Sept 21. SPONSORED STRATEGY@IMPACT – $15,000

STRATEGY is an invitation-only program designed to engage top-level retail AP/LP executives and University of Florida faculty in short, meaningful dialog around key topics during the annual LPRC IMPACT Conference. This session will include lunch and your logo will be prominently featured in the meeting space.

Innovation Lab 5.0 Unveiling and Opening Reception – $15,000

Welcome IMPACT Attendees to the conference by sponsoring the Innovation Lab Reception. This is a time for members to tour our lab, network with peers, and indulge in heavy hors d’oeuvres and libations.

Conference App – $10,000

Sponsor our conference app, where your logo will prominently be displayed for all attendees as they utilize this tool to navigate our event.

Sponsor this main stage session while the LPRC Team and Retailers involved in this Innovation Chain talk about the process and findings of this project.

SPONSORED LPRC Labcoat Area – $6,000

Our “photo booth” area will give attendees the opportunity to don our famous labcoats to take pictures with. This area is included one of our gamficiation challenges to provide ample traffic, participation, and pictures will be printed and posted online!

Have your logo on the name badge lanyard of all conference attendees.
