Founder
King Rogers is a pioneering leader in the retail loss prevention and asset protection industry with more than four decades of experience spanning retail operations, security strategy, technology innovation, and advisory leadership. Best known for his tenure as Vice President of Assets Protection at Target Corporation, Rogers played a transformative role in advancing modern retail loss prevention practices and mentoring generations of industry professionals. He is also recognized as one of the original founders and early visionaries behind the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC), helping establish the organization as a collaborative research-driven force within the retail industry.
In addition to being a founding force behind the LPRC, Rogers served as Chair of the LPRC Board of Advisors, where he helped guide the organization’s strategic direction, retailer engagement, and innovation initiatives. Following his retail career, he became a successful entrepreneur and consultant, co-founding advisory firms KRI and KRG and later serving as a senior asset protection advisor with Master Technology Group. Throughout his career, Rogers has remained widely respected for his leadership, industry influence, and commitment to advancing evidence-based approaches to retail crime prevention and asset protection.
